Playing with paint and quill pens

Painty doodle. I haven't touched paints since college and was pleased to see that even though most of my guash dried up in clumps on a plastic board I was still able to coax some life outta them :D Watercolour is so versatile... well, until I put it on canvas that is...

Inking straight ahead with quill pens is FUN, don't know why I haven't tried more often.

An Ode to Window Seating

After 10 months in the studio's basement I was beyond gleeful to get a seat beside a window on this current project. Now that my contract is at an end and future seating a mystery, here is my fond-farewell... farewell window seat! Thank you for keeping me sane :) *heart*

Thursday's Child

A doodle did at work, I'm thinking of naming her Thursday, but wonder if that's somewhat pretentious? I just like the sound of it. Looking on the net I found an old rhyme I probably heard long ago about the days of the week and what they mean for the person born on them.

"Wednesday's child is full of woe" hmm... I am feeling pretty woe-full these days, truth be told...
