Progress report!

Oof! After getting swamped by a ton of storyboarding freelance (and drawing a comic for the super cool Valor anthology) I'm back on the ink-train and working hard to get the next Silly Kingdom comic finished this month. Stay tuned for details! If you've already pre-ordered we'll be emailing you soon with an update on some special extra perks that will be coming your way :)

Glad my usual life-drawing/tea-n'-cookie classes have started up again. Awesome group of people and a great way to get out of work-hermit-mode

Guest Comic

Hey Sam & Fuzzy readers! I was invited to draw a guest comic as part of "The Pitch" a 9 page comic where the  Sam & Fuzzy cast explores different "reboot ideas" for their strip. Written by Shannon Campbell and drawn by a bunch of super cool web cartoonists (with the comic's creator Sam Logan drawing the framing art of each guest strip.)

Check out my sparkly contribution here! (it's the chapter finale)

The Shanahanigans stretch goal has been UNLOCKED! Shaggy and I will be officially making a comic for the Valor anthology. 8 days left to get your copy of this excellent book ✮
( P.S The Silly Kingdom art is just a promo for our involvement, Silly Kingdom 2 isn’t the story going into Valor!)

Hey LA folk! The Sailor Moon tribute art show “Meatball Head” is opening this weekend and Nico kindly invited me to be a part of it! :) My original pencil and inked illustration “Sailor Goof” will be up on display (and for sale) along side a bunch of my incredibly talented friends and peers. I wish I could be there in person, if you go please take lots of pics!

Happy 10 year Anniversary Flight Comics!

(From left to right: Jen Wang, Kazu Kibuishi, Jason Caffoe, me, Stu Livingston, Shaggy Shanahan, Johane Matte, Bannister, Dik Pose)

After San Diego Comic Con (which was a super fun time, by the by) my little Canadian troupe continued up north for more California adventures, one of which was a Flight Anthology party at Gallery Nucleus. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Flight, and I'm blessed to know all these wonderfully talented people (and have met so many beloved pals) thanks to being a part of the Flight family

New portfolio site!

I've put together a more easy to navigate online portfolio just in time for San Diego Comic Con. It's mostly a collection of a lot of drawings you guys have already seen but it also has samples from comics I haven't published yet online (Flight,  Explorer and sample pages from Silly Kingdom #2) if you were curious to take a peek! :)

My piece for the "Monstrosity" volume 2 space-horror comic anthology.
The 11x14" original is up for grabs as a kickstarter backer reward, check it out here!
