Thursday's Child

A doodle did at work, I'm thinking of naming her Thursday, but wonder if that's somewhat pretentious? I just like the sound of it. Looking on the net I found an old rhyme I probably heard long ago about the days of the week and what they mean for the person born on them.

"Wednesday's child is full of woe" hmm... I am feeling pretty woe-full these days, truth be told...

Thanks very much for your kind comments. It's always a pleasure to come here and see your drawings. They're full of life and emotion! I love that little dancing sequence below, and the comic that goes with it.

Is she a paranormal investigator?
(I really enjoy your illustration style.)

Ha! As someone born on a Wednesday, I always thought I got gypped in that rhyme.

I think the next part of the rhyme goes "Thursday's child had far to go." Don't know if that has any bearing on anything...

Apparently it's a Mother Goose rhyme? I've never heard of it, but here's the link I found for it!
