Dr Sketchy's Anti Art School Sketches
Fiiiinally went back to lifedrawing yesterday, and though I'm hella rusty it was a pretty fun night, and our model was absolutely gorgeous (I totally haven't done her prettyness justice). And the costumes, the costumes were soo lovely *salivate* I wish I owned such pretty dresses!

(the weird lil' dude was added to this one because if we incorporated "absynth drunk" into our life drawing we'd win a shot of absynth. I lost, but only by a few claps, curse you person with more friends!!!)

Painter Nostalgia Kick

Fanart is my favourite remedy for hitting those drawing-blanks. Ranma takes me back to those happy days of my youth when I was just getting a foothold into anime and it was starting to seem possible that I might be able to make a living off of drawing and cartooning...
Though being between contracts right now I'm kind of more coasting than making a living, ahaha *sigh*... Watercolours!!!

Painter Doodle
Some painty doodles done while attempting to teach my lil' sis Heather how to watercolour... (yeah I kinda don't know what I'm doing) ... the lady on the left was a huge inking catastrophe which I kind of enjoyed, and the bird was doodled after looking at paint splotches for shapes. Weee! Too much exposition! :DTuesday, November 11, 2008
